Last couple of weekends; changed out the DriZair, removed the battery and put a trickle charger on it, fixed the locking hasp for the battery box by riveting it to the lid lining up the holes for the padlock and replaced interior light bulbs with LEDs.
We have a heater that holds 5C, 40F inside and it's nice and dry.

Rented a Bissell carpet cleaner to do some cleaning in the house. Had enough chemicals left to clean and Scotch guard all the carpet in the the rolling condo.

I thought about washing our trailer. While I was debating where to begin I sat down and had a few beers. I'll wash the trailer another day.

Changed the wiper blades - late again, meaning to change them for the past month. Try to do it at least every 6 months, sooner if they're streeking.

Sure, so far so good. Been using it mostly for Netflix. Seems to work very well. Also tried Youtube and playing a MP4 video also. No issues so far.

We got tired of the carpeting in the main area of our FK. Did some poking and looks like the vinyl flooring was underneath the carpet. So we took the chance and sure enough we removed all of the carpet except for what was on the slide itself.

Huge improvement. Got so aluminium strips to cover the transition from the rest of the carpet under the slide. A lot of dirt was under the old carpet.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Well I took our two propane tanks that came with our new 2014 trailer that we bought new less than a year ago. They guy said he had to check the date on the tanks and I said they are from a new trailer I just bought 10 months ago. He looked and showed me their build date was 2006 and he said they are only good for 12 years. Not sure if that is a MD thing or Federal. Anyways he said they can't be legally filled after 2017. Is it normal to get tanks that are already 8 years old on a brand new trailer? I'm not gonna make a big deal and call my dealer but thought it was odd.

Maybe out of curiosity I should start a poll on trailer date vs propane tank date.... If trailer was bought new.

I wouldn't worry about that unless they are 30 pounder's. If they are 20's just trade in your empties for full ones (you only pay for the gas) at any store that carries Blue Rhino and go camping!

It's a state thing. More government regulations mean more goverment jobs and more supervisors and more layers of administration and the goverment grows and grows...and our rights diminish more and more..

This is very poor advice to give on a Jayco camping fourm. We're not asking about Your opinion on government we're talking about our safety and our fellow campers and children's safety. You should know better Tex.
Over a period of 10 years tanks get beat up,valves don't close real tight and if left empty and open you do get moisture inside and they can rust from the inside out. It's a good idea to keep them covered at all times because 10 years exposure to the elements on anything will compromise it's safety.

Tanks can be re-certified and re-used.

Check with your Propane supplier on the procedure.

You are right, I got this off of a Propane tank suppliers web site.

Cylinder Certification and Recertification

Cylinders are subject to recertification (also known as requalification) twelve years from their date of manufacture and every five years after that. For example, a cylinder manufactured in January of 2000 will have to be recertified in January of 2012 meaning if you take your bottle to the propane company in April of 2012 to be refilled, it will have to be requalified by authorized personnel before it can be filled. The recertification process is simple and does not take too long to complete. Think of cylinder recertification as an inspection similar to that of your car. A vehicle has to be inspected annually so that it may continue to operate safely on the road. Similarly, a propane cylinder must be inspected so that it may continue to operate safely in LP Gas service.

Opened the windows to let some fresh air flow through and changed out the DriZair. Put our new monopoly game in the rack and...
oh yeah, got the WD hitch sorted.
Now we're ready for Easter weekend.
