335T Low Hot Water Pressure

Our hot water pressure has never been the same as the cold water pressure - all fixtures. Yesterday it was a trickle - burped the water heater tank PRV and switched from normal to bypass mode and back, and now have some hot water pressure. In bypass mode the cold and hot water pressure is the same. From other threads on this forum I am concluding it is the hot water tank check valve. Has anyone one with a 335T had this issue? Real questions is - has anyone found an easy way to pop off the cabinet panels under the sink to access the back side of the hot water tank where the check valve will be? Thanks for any info.
