Cockpit Floor Bulge Cover

We have a new Alante 31V that has the bulge of the floor around the center console. I am not sure how to call that thing or for what to search on this forum.

It is tan color and gets dirty quickly when climbing into driver or passenger seat.

Are there any finished covers for that? I know I could fabricate one from carpet but was looking for an easy solution.

Thanks,

JB

I was wondering that same thing, although I had a friend rent a 2009 Thor with carpet on the bulge/hump thing and it looked awful. I think I'll just keep wiping it down with Costco wipes, unless you figure something else out.

Maybe you could remove it and paint a color that won't show dirt as easily? There are many paints available that have a speckled finish (like the old trunk interior finish) or something that you might like.

Send a message via Skype™ to Foretm
Its commonly referred to as the "doghouse", mine is fiberglass and cleans very easily. I've also learned to step into the ares infront of the seat before sitting it helps to get in and out.
