Hydraulic Systems - Precept Leak

I usually use my manual hydraulic leveler in my 2016 Jayco precept 35up. I thought I would test it out on automatic and it took it way up very high in the front and then I heard a spurting sound and it came back down. I went outside and I saw red hydraulic fluid all over my driveway from leak at the RV midpoint.

So I have two questions.
1) is the lift system hydraulic infrastructure separate from the brakes?
2) if it is, I would like to stop the crazy beeping that goes on when I put it in gear, does anyone know how?

I am going on a 3-month-long trip in about 2 weeks and I don't want to have it repaired right now. I'm very willing to put blocks under my tires because I know that my destination is very close to level. Any input is appreciated

The brakes and the leveling system are definitely separate. If your's is similar to what we had on our SENECA it beeps when the tank is low since it thinks the jacks are not completely retracted. Filling the tank may stop the beeping.

Grumpy is right on. There is a very fine line where the alarm starts to sound. Check where your oil level is and add oil to to bring it up to the fill line. Make sure you do this with the levelers in the fully retracted (up) position. Otherwise you will surely overfill it.
Before doing that try to determine the source of your leak. It could be something as simple as a loose hydraulic hose fitting. Good luck.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Luckily the feet are all the way up but I'm confident that the Springs attached to it do that when there's no pressure.

This is a photograph of where the leak was coming from under the rv.

The odd thing is is I can't find the hose that came off it! I'm going to go spend some extra time looking for it, but I'm wondering could this be a pressure relief valve?

Are you sure a hose didn't split?

I found it! The hose was in the vicinity just buried in other things. And it was resting on top of a metal brace, so it of course wore thin over the last 7 years. Thank you all for your help
