Smile 2015 Siesmic 310W Mods / Repairs

Here is a compiled list of all the mods and repairs I have made so far to my 310....which i refer to as “the command center”.

Rv Modifications / Repairs
1. Relocate Fuel pump for 5.5 KW generator to the Generator Fuel tank. This eliminated issues with losing fuel prime on the fuel pump.
2. Replace the #8 gauge wiring jumpers between 12 volt batteries with #2 wiring.
3. Replace Three 12v Interstate HD120 batteries with 2 US battery 6 volts batteries Increasing total AH to 315.
4. Added Trimetric Battery Monitor. (Excellent investment).
5. Adjusted all Latches so doors close properly with out having to slam them shut.
6. Replaced Gas assist shocks on Basement Compartments with 50lb shocks. Origional shocks were 100lb and way to stiff causing and ripping out screws on the metal edging where they were attached.
7. Replace 4 Westlake E rated tires with Discount TIres Hartland G rated tires.
8. Replaced Progressive transfer switch. (Defective) with New 50 amp with built in surg suppression.
9. Added 1000w 12 volt interter and wired all entertainment equipment through inverter both for Living room and Master Bedroom.
10. Added internal Cooling fans for Dometic refrigerator.
11. Repaired faulty seal around clean out Sprayer adapter in black tank.
12. Added R19 insulation above entire cloraplast under belly covering.
13. Fully sealed up all areas of underbelly penetrations through flooring.
14. Sealed up penetrations under Fridge where the propane lines come up from underneath through the flooring.
15. Sealed back together the Vent Pipe union from the Grey tank that came dislodged from its connection inside the wall of the master bedroom.
16. Sealed with caulking the Shower track that holds the three Glass shower doors.
17. Repaired the sloppy 12 volt connection to the 12 volt fuel meter/ timer for remote fuel station. This never worked from the factory.
18. Foam sealed all openings for 1 and 1/2 inch pluming from the basement through the flooring to bathroom.
19. Repaired seal around the PVC line from the toilet into the top of the black tank. (Leaked from day 1).
20. Re wired all RG6 cable junctions. Sat feed was run into 2 different 4 way splitters.....absolutely killing any chance of RF signal strength.
21. Threw away terrible Factory Sound Bar and added JBL sound Bar with blue tooth Sub.
22. Added Cambridge audio system for TV in master bedroom.
23. Added three way connection for Propane. This allows for quick connect to external 100LB propane tank.
24. Removed spring loaded PINs for all leveling jacks. Issue being they can easily not be properly engaged all the way through the jacks..... as I found out by shearing off a rear set. Now you have to manually insert a larger sized pin with keeper on the back side. This guarantees the pin is properly in place and can bear the load of the Jack.
25. Repaired water connections to the Nautilus Water Center. Fresh water and Black tank lines were REVERSED! (luckily Dealer caught this one).
26. Added 6 Iiton 56 segment LED Solar Motion sensors perimeter lighting. They light up the entire area all around the 5th wheel. NO Wiring.
27. Added Gorilla Glue to all wood screws in the hinged cabinets. No more loose hinges.
28. Added finishing nails to all trim pieces to hold them up.
29. Added twist on Valve at final Sewer outlet connection.
30. Added Dish Network Pathway x2 Satellite system.
31. Converted entire back Garage into a beautiful office suite. Complete with Carpet, Printer/Scanners, File cabinets, Producers desk, 1500w UPS, 24 port Switch, Custom movable shelving.
32. Added 4 Wireless temperature remote stations. Basement, Underbelly, Garage, and Main living room.
33. Removed all plastic collar pieces that were attached to all ceiling AC vents. Added sealed TAPE to seal the space/gap between the ducted plenum and the roof. This allows for TONS more air to circulate throughout the entire positive plenum supply duct to entire RV.... including air all the way back to the garage. Now 1 AC can maintain and keep entire RV cool
