2012 Pinnacle REQS
Didn't originally want the full paint, but since it was the last one on the lot, we got it. It's actually growing on me. We bought this so our special needs daughter has plenty of wiggle room in the living room, and we can carry her wheelchair inside.
BTW, the pics are taken at our house where we just recently had a concrete pad poured, and we have 50 amp service from the garage. It's like our own little getaway in the back yard.
Can't wait to take it out with my girls!

Very nice unit.
That's a nice setup you have at the house.
Congratulations on the new Pinnacle

Great looking 5er, the Full Body Paint is Nice.
We looked at a Pinnacle with the Full Body Paint and like it but the floorplan just did not work for us.

Nice, nice, very nice!!
After a year of our Pinnacle being outside, I'm wishing I had spent the extra big $s for full paint as the edges of the decals on the street side are starting to wrinkle. Street side faces the southern sun all winter at our storage lot. I suppose I should get a cover but with the midwest winds howling often in the winter, I'm afraid of chafing.
However, our Pinnacle is truly a very good rig for the 2 of us. It has only had a couple of minor issues fixed by the dealer: A faulty kitchen drain anti-siphon air valve, and a broken outer range vent closure clip. Both replaced as warranty work.
Enjoy yours as much as we do ours!!

So far our Decals have been holding up pretty good after being Fulltime about a year and a half, and towing about 10k miles.
Sure hope they continue to hold up well.
The Full Body Paint is an expensive option and adds several hundred pounds (yes paint is heavy) but it sure is nice.
Maybe next time we will get the Full Body Paint.
Robert

Thanks everyone for the comments. I didn't realize the paint weighed that much. Also we had quite the list of minor warranty issues once we got it home and went over it with a fine tooth comb.

If you don't mind me asking how does your 2012 ram tow your 36reqs I have the same trailer but I tow with a 2000 ram 3500 and I might be in the market for a new truck possibly looking for a 13 or14 ram 3500 .

Mike WA,
The 6.7 liter Cummins tows like a dream. What I really enjoy is that the width of the camper is just about the exact width of the rear of the dually. So when it comes to visual spacing going down the road, it's easy. The engine is outstanding and DOES NOT bog down at all! The real cream rises with the incorporated electric brake controller and the integrated exhaust brake. I also have the 4.10 axle. Towing capacity of my setup is 20,900 lbs. Fully loaded, I am about 15,000. The Mor-Ryde pin box really smooths things out in the bed, and after a few miles, I hardly know it's back there. Good luck with your decision, but I HIGHLY recommend these new trucks.

What is your MPG when you are towing and not towing. I have a 2005 5.9 with 300,000 miles and thinking about a newer Dodge 3500. Always heard the 6.7 is a gas hog.

At sea level here in MD, I get about 14.5 stock with no trailer. Towing, I get about 11-12.

That is a problem. I drive my truck to work and I get 22-26 MPG empty all of the time. Towing is in the same range with the 6.7L. Last trip with a south tail wind, I averaged 14.3 MPG. On my return trip into the wind, my MPG was 12.2. I guess I will drive my 5.9L until it dies!!!!!! I might try to find a 5.9L with less miles.
