Nuw-B Jayco Decisions

Hi all, looking forward to learning more about these TTs as I consider buying.
I am currently looking at a 2020 145rb slx7 vs a 2011 145rb slx with a 50% price between them. I am wondering what if any major differences there are. I already see that the 2020 has a front window, a larger black tank and that the water heater runs on propane and A/C but other than that and the age difference anything else I should be concerned about? I am coming from a Roadtrek so interior size is similar but at least I can park/hook up then tour around with the tow vehicle. Thanks in advance.

The older one may need a better inspection. For instance the date code will need to be looked at on the tires. And I would look at all the sealing on the unit and ask about any maintenance performed. Every extra year a unit has sat outside is an extra chance of water damage, which in my opinion is some of the worst problems a unit can have.

The only thing I can add is my dealer has told me how much he hates the front windows on the TT’s because they come in so often because they leak.
Hope that might help a little.

Thanks. Any specific areas to look at for water infiltration other than the roof? If i bring a straight edge will i be able to see any buckling or is the a contour in the sidewalls that would interfere with such a test? ref: checking vertical walls in/out.
