help! Theater seat stuck (2019 jayco melbourne)

Was wondering if any one else has experienced and resolved this or similar: Closed one of the paired theater seats from recline to chair position and now it will not "open" i.e. recline again. I can palpate the cable and latch which feels like it is moving freely just as it does on the non-offending and still functioning adjacent seat. Can't see under the seat (since it won't open) for any other clues.

Open the one that works and look under for an idea of what you may be able to do?
