New TV

Hello everyone. My last two TV's had integrated trailer breaks. I just got a 2011 Expedition EL to accommodate a growing family. What do you recommend for a break controller and are they simple to install myself?

The Prodigy P3 is a very good controller. Here is an install video:

I have the Prodigy P3 in my Sprinter van and it is a great controller. Nothing negative to say about it and is probably one of the best controllers on the market right now.

If you are a little more budget conscious and are not in need of all the bells and whistles that the P3 offers, I may suggest the Tekonsha Voyager. It has been around forever and just plain works. I have one in my Ram 2500 and one in my wife's Ram 1500. The one in my truck was a hand me down from 2 previous trucks and is at least 15+ years old and has seen over 200K of towing miles on it. Zero issues.
