A New Hybrid??
Hey Gang,
I just got an e-mail this morning from Indiana RV Connection and I see where it looks like Jayco has come out with a new hybrid for 2017? It's called the Hummingbird Micro-Lite. Weighs less than 3k pounds and comes in 3 floor plans.
Here's a link for more info:

Doesn't appear to be a hybrid...

That is a sexy little trailer! I love seeing them come out with these smaller lighter trailers.

Click on "Select this Floorplan" under the models and it links to pics.

Thanks for that link with pics. It looks more like an ultra-lite, or in this case a "micro-lite"!

Neat little trailers. Looks like they're aiming directly at Forest River's R-Pod line...

That was my first thought too, they seem a little pricey but they sure look nice.
Honestly if it was just my wife and i, we likely would have went the Rpod route, they are slick trailers, and we looked at a few used ones. The only model that would have worked for my family was the one with the pop out tent at the back, and it was a tent canvas type of material, and the water runoff was not managed well at all (Not to mention the trailer being near unusable with it closed). That and the "Sh@! Shower" as the salesman called it were turnoffs for me.

We looked at them briefly (R-Pod), but the wet bath was a major turnoff for us as well. And it was A LOT of money for what you get. If it were always just the 2 of us, we might could make it work. But DW wanted her space, and a nice big bathroom, so we ended up going the exact opposite direction with the 28BHBE! Now that the family is growing, it's really becoming an ideal trailer for us. It was a bit much for just the 2 of us in the beginning, but I knew we would grow into it...
