I always decline all the dealer add on stuff. But now I'm wondering. I haven't washed and waxed my trailer yet. Depending on how that goes, I may have to make an appointment.

Not sure, if I can do it myself, that would be the best bet. My dealership doesn't like to throw in much.

Thoughts on this product guys??

Gelcoat is an actual fiberglass finish resin. Think boats and fiberglass aircraft. I'd be shocked if you could do an RV for $800. I think it would be like "full body paint" as an option.

Ask to see an RV that they've done... That's where I'd start. I'm very particular about "paint" work and at $800, I question if they're actually telling you that it is "Gelcoat" or some sort of surface protection that is waxed based.

What cb said. If is was a true gel goat like that is on boats then 800 bucks is an absolute STEAL. We just spent 20k to gel coat a 38ft boat

All I have ever used was rainx car wash soap. Comes out bright and shiny with a little scrubbing. Dealer tried the upsell on me too.

I don't have it because the dealer didn't offer it to me. Is this something fairly new??

I think it must be fairly new. They didn't mention it when I purchased my x17z last year

Out of curiosity because we pick up a new Eagle in a week or two, does this gel coat have a warranty against oxidation. That is one of my biggest concerns about these new brown caps and I understand many of the dealers offer this gel coat. I don't ever buy into dealer programs, but I have a strong feeling the cap will oxidize and I would like someone else to pay for it when it does.
