New Owner Jayco 2015 X17Z hybrid

PSYCHED finally got the camper I wanted a new old stock 2015 haven't even picked it up yet

I did a lot of research and the hybrid made the most sense for me, its the perfect fit.

Looking opinions on immediate must do upgrades
(spices and paper towels come to mind)

Coming off 15 yrs of pop up camper this should be fun!
Glad I found this group!

Power.

Consider a robust battery array, a small inverter, and a solar panel to keep everything charged.

With the right configuration, you can go anywhere you want and skip the utility connection.

Oh, and beer ... You need beer

Congrats on the trailer. We had our pup for 19 years and then moved up to the 17z last year. For paper towels we use a stand up roll holder so it's easy to move where we need them. Most everything else fits into shoe box size clear plastic tote boxes. The boxes fit into the upper cabinets cleanly and let us see what's in them for organizing. Good luck and enjoy your time.

Welcome! My and wife purchased a 2016 X17Z back in August and have camped in it about 8 times now. Looking forward to getting her de-winterized and back out. Congrats, you'll love having it!

I installed a bunch of those sticker 3M hooks everywhere inside, as storage is at a premium. I have some hooks on the cabinet near door, for keys. More hooks on the wall when you walk in, for jackets. It helps keep the clutter down.

Check the weight on your unit and make sure your comfortable w/ the cargo capacity on it. Make sure you subtract the expected weight of a battery and 6 gallons of water in the hot water heater. The 17z plays it pretty close to max with carrying capacity - just something to be aware of before you put pen to paper.

Don't ask me how I know this.
