2017 Greyhawk DVD/Movie Player

As part of my learning curve after moving from a TT to Class C I am trying to figure out if you can watch a DVD movie from the dash radio? I see there is an HDMI adapter in the dash. Tried to insert a DVD into the radio and ran an HDMI cable to the TV but no luck. Any suggestions???

Thanks, Ogione1

Seems to me that the radio in my 2017 Greyhawk connected to the TV through old style RCA cables. I may have tried it once before I went out and bought a small Sony Blue Ray player that I connect directly to the TV via HDMI.

I place the player directly below the TV and plug it into the same power outlet. Works perfectly!

Same for my 2013 Greyhawk, it was connected to the TV via RCA cables and the screen on the dash also played the movie. I too have since replaced with Blue Ray direct to tv and new in dash radio GPS.

Same for my 2016. DVD had to be "standard" not BluRay.
Then kick the TV's to "AV" input. Dash DVDs played on the TVs.

Prepare to be underwhelmed.
