Air sensor code

Hi all: I have a 2014 Seneca 37rb. It’s on the Freightliner M2/106 chassis. I really disliked the two mirror sideview set up. I wanted one mirror with the convex in it and the ability to put a clearance light and turn signal on the sideview.

I found the Freightliner Century mirror fit that need but I had to cut it out of its brackets and weld it to my M2 brackets. It worked and I married the two wires together

Here’s the problem: the M2 has a air temp sensor in the left mirror. The Century does not . So I did not “complete” that circuit. Now it’s throwing a code for an open circuit

I need to know how to fix this? Do I just “loop” the wire for the air temp sensor or put a resistor on the end or just remove the air sensor from the old M2 mirror, plug it back in and leave the sensor inside the door?

Any help would be appreciated
