Newbie here. Generator keeps shutting off when in transit. We have 2018 precept 35s. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What is the fuel level in the gas tank when it happens?

Check the oil, some have low oil sensor and will shut down

I had the same issue on our 31FK Onan. It wouldn't happen all of the time and I couldn't trace it. Oil level fine, gas fine. I started to suspect two culprits: bumpy roads and heat.

I started to wonder if it would happen more often on rough roads.
Or more often when it was very hot.

There is concern that our generators are not getting enough cooling airflow.

In the end - the whole generator died a horrific death.
I was never able to figure out a cause.
We had a replacement generator put in - which made me very, very $$sad$$.

Fuel tank is 3/4 full. It is hot outside but we’ll check lil level when we get home.

It's a known issue with the Onan fuel pumps affected by heat, we have replaced a few.

I agree with Winnie,

I know this is going to sound crazy but if it is not the other items already listed look at the cold resting oil level. If it shows full remove the amount to get level at middle of dip stick. These generators have a tendency to run hot and the expanding oil will then trigger an over full situation. Try this it very possible will fix you issue.
