New To Me 2005 Greyhawk 31SS

My water pump runs all the time, doesn't pressurize and shut off like all the other RV's I've had. I has good flow at the facets. The pump is in the bathroom under a cabinet drawer, kind of hard to get to.
There are 3 water pump switches throughout the coach too. Is there some thing wrong with the pump not shutting off? Its also very noisy.
When I fill the water tank it over flows at the top when full. Is that normal?
TIA

Congratulations on the new rig!
The pump should run when you turn the water on but stop when flow stops. It probably needs the pressure switch adjusted.
Any of the 3 switches will turn the pump on. But all three need to be in the off position to keep it off.
The tank will overflow when it’s full. That’s normal.

Thanks, does the city water connection on the outside need a air tight cap on it? It doesn't have a cover.

No the outside city water hookup doesn't need to be sealed air tight but a cover is nice to keep dirt out.

When using the water pump be sure you have all the valves turned correctly on the water distribution panel located in one of the outside compartments. Makes a huge difference in what happens.

There are numbers on the valves and a diagram of how to set each one when using the water pump. If not set correctly the pump will not shut off when turned on.

Go to Jayco website...there you can download back information about your year model if you don't have any that came with it.

Enjoy and safe travels!

Thanks, problem is I don't know where the valves are. 3 under the bathroom sink. I haven't located the rest of them. Its a non-basement model. The owners manual is no help locating the valves.

It's a central control board for the water system. It is usually inside a outside compartment. It will have two valves with numbers around them and a code listed by the valves on which number to turn each valve to make certain things happen.

These are not turn off valves but water selector valves. Found this picture online maybe it will help. This is what you should find.

I don't have a 2005 model but watching this video:

makes me wonder - what's behind the little white plastic door, above the city water hose connection, driver's slide?

Are there valves in there?

According to that video of a 2005 model you do have storage compartments just like all of the other Grey and Redhawks.

It's inside one of the storage compartments accessed from the outside. You might have to stick your head in each and look around.

If I was guessing it would be on the drivers side in that compartment all the way at the back. If not there look inside all the others. It's got to be there somewhere.

I know you are trying to help, but watching a video, doesn't help, but thanks anyway.

Bad guess, my 31SS doesn't have that kind of panel. There are individual valves in the hoses running all over the coach.

UPDATE:
I fixed the pressurizing issue and the pump works as it should.
The idiot previous owner put in a plastic valve in the Pex tubing and it wasn't closing tight, replaced with a ball cock brass valve and Bob's your Uncle!!
I cant imagine how many years he was turning off and on the WP switch when he needed water.
It's a fixer upper for sure, a good way to know the inner workings of your RV.

My 2010 Greyhawk 31SS has a door right above the outdoor shower and the valves are behind that.
