Outside TV

Hello!

Have a 2018 Greyhawk 31FSP

Bought it last year and just now pulled out the outside TV from the mount and noticed that there are composite cables run to it. I can’t figire out where they go. I thought it was controlled from DVD player above the cab but that was not the case. Called both the dealer and Jayco and no one seems to no what these RCA cables are coming from.

While we hardly ever use the TV, it’s driving me crazy not knowing where these cables are coming from. And yes I’ve selected the correct Input on the outside TV.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Judd

Just my two cents. The cables on my 31 SS came from the radio CD player to a amplifier/splitter then to my outside tv and to my other tv inside. I could insert a movie in the radio CD player and it sent signal to either TV and outside had a separate antenna jack and cable jack

These should either go to the head unit (navigation and DVD) in the dash or a DVD or distribution panel somewhere else. If you talk to Jayco customer support they can send you the build sheets that have every single cable and where it goes. This was helpful for me in trying to find where stuff went.

Only problem with the cabling diagram was they had the colors wrong and a cable marked to go to outside TV that was never installed

Not sure what cables do what without tearing into it again but...
My outside TV is connected to the outside radio.
I can play TV sound through the radio speakers.
I can also play a DVD from the outside radio onto the outside TV.

I added an audio out cable so I can plug the outside tv into a Block Rocker type external speaker for a louder movie theater type experience.
