Quick connect propane - Seneca

Anyone using the low pressure quick connect for propane that came already installed on the coach ?

I have a couple questions:

What male fitting are you using ?
I tried a gas line from another coach and it wouldn’t plug in... it looks like it is stamped to only use 82900 plug but google isn’t helping me find it.

Just wondering if I can hook my Weber gas grill to it or if I would need to remove the regulator that is built in to my Weber grill ?

Anyone look into install a larger propane tank ?
Looks like the compartment/area has a lot extra space where a larger tank could fit.

You will need a Camco 59903 Male low pressure quick disconnect fitting. To connect to your weber grill, you will have to remove the regulator as the low pressure from your tank will not open the high pressure regulator on your grill. Search you tube for converting grill to low pressure

On my 17 Seneca I had to replace the female fitting because I could not get the male from my low-pressure hose to fit.
Yes, you have to remove the pressure regulator on the grill.

Someone on here replaced the 56lb tank with a larger tank. This was about a year ago. I will see if I can locate who it was and send the link.

You have to remove the Weber regulator. I had my local propane company make up a 15' hose. I must have got lucky on the male fitting size, although it is tough to connect. You can always call Jayco tech support. They'll be able to give you the correct size.

Amazon has everything you'll need. Just search RV propane fittings or something similar. I use mine all the time and it's well worth the minor hassle of converting your grill.

I was going through the same search for my Seneca but for a Coleman RoadTrip XLE portable grill. Anyone who wants to figure out how to convert the little regulator into the unit here is the slick little conversion by Sturgi-Safe conversion to a quick disconnect. You can then buy a long low pressure quick connect hose with a male end and female end. search for "Sturgi-Safe RoadTrip LXE Low Pressure Quick Disconnect Conversion Fitting." No more annoying little propane tanks.
