So what was your project today?

Today I called Hellwig and talked with tech about adjusting the helper springs. Mine had measurements from 4.25 to 3 inches on the four points. They are all now at 2.5 inches. If you attempt to adjust yours I would definitely try to find an extra extra deep dish socket for your impact. It was no fun using a big box 7/8 to tighten them all down. One was so out of adjustment it slipped back on the left side aft leaf. Also installed screens on water heater and furnace to keep bugs out.

Picked up a couple of old steel farm equipment wheels when we were in Texas a few weeks ago. DW wants a cart that she can decorate ( yard art )for different holidays. Started on it today . I think I’ll have a few more days on it yet.

Changed the oil in the generator on the Greyhawk. I went from 30 Wt. to 15 W 40. Also tried out some Black Streak remover, the Camco brand sold at Wal-Mart. This stuff works great and is only $5.00 a bottle....

A 7/8 ratcheting box end wrench works great for this, too.

That is what I used after my deep dish socket on impact wrench went to the max depth.

Today I used the screens from my FW for the heater and water heater. Heater screen fit but not water heater one. Used a dremel and cut out the screen to fit. Used another piece to screen off the intake from the inside. Also installed access door so I can run cable and extension cords on passenger side. Just gotta clean up the sealant. You would think Jayco would have did that instead of leaving the door open.

Calcium Chloride, one of it's uses is a de humidifier. It is hygroscopic, which means it draws moisture from the air. We looked at a cottage last summer that had 5 buckets of the stuff, had a crawl space with bare sand, high water table with no vapor barrier. Place smelled like mildew.
Hard NOPE!

Fiberglasing two holes in the front section of my Jayco Class C where a neighbors tree branch poked two holes into it during the last hurricane.

Sanding and some bondo to smooth it out, then my nephew is going to wrap it.

I took the outside fridge out on my 26M, installed a Bluetti AC200L, and started running 6AWG wire from the chassis battery to a Victron 12/24 DC to Dc converter to charge while running down the road to keep the inside fridge cold.

Received my Christmas present early. A TST 507 TPMS with 10 sensors. Spent the day reading the instructions and checking out videos on setting up the sensors.

weiom,
I keep a dehumidifier set at 55 in mine. Figured out how to get an extension cord inside. I like keeping the 120 off and battery main off ( hopefully keep these electronics working longer). I ran an extension inside thru the passenger door. Closed I can easily pull the cord thru the seals and closed door ( I really thought that would crimp the cord). First Ford product I have owned, my Ram would have cut the cable. So far get about 2-3 days before having to empty.

Today I installed a simple safe motion sensor and door sensors in my 30Z. From my RV pole barn my home unit will pick it up. Got my safety plus stabilizer and 6 ft cords for my second solar panel today. So now two more projects to schedule.
