Which digital thermostat did you pick for 29V

Wondering what model digital thermostat you picked to replace the stock thermostat in the 29V. Doesn't need to be wifi or programmable. Or is the stock non-digital thermostat pretty accurate in maintaining temperature and you don't really need to replace it? Thanks! Pam

This is what I replaced mine with. If you have a heat pump, you will need the more expensive one; without, you will need the other one. Mine works very well, as expected. Attachment 57769

I have used the same as gprapim and really like them in my 27U. One for bedroom with no heat and main one with heat. Easy replacement. Main thing I like is being able to glance at them and know temp in MH. Also, nice to know exactly where you are setting the temp - before was always a bit of a guess.

I'll second that first one. The analog thermostat that came in my rig was absolutely horrible, with WIDE temp swings until it called for heat/cool. I also replaced it with that first digital thermostat. Very easy install, wire for wire swap out. Now, the room temp reads on the display, and there is barely a degree or two swing before it kicks on.

No heat pump so I know the lower cost unit will work in front room. We have optional second AC in bedroom do you use the same stat model in the bedroom even though it only runs the AC? I know I need second stat just trying to get correct model. If not Same does someone know what model number for back room? Thanks for replies.

Enjoy the journey

A digital thermostat will maintain the temperature within about 1 degree. The old fashioned thermostat will maintain the temperature within 2 to 3 degrees. You will be much more comfortable with a digital.

I put in two of the Coleman Mach 9430-3543 Bluetooth Wall Thermostats. I can control them from my phone (Bluetooth), so it helps when I am connecting/disconnecting power outside of the rig.

Was the same price as the previously mentioned units.

I used that one in our 2016 RKS. It seems to be working very well! Message me if you need a pic of the wiring. I took pictures so I did not get the wires wrong.

Footprint wise, are the two screw holes from the original thermostat exposed?
