The Kindling Cracker

The DW surprised me today with this terrific gift.

I guess she got tired of me slicing my fingers cutting kindling for campfires after having a few “barley pops”.

Check it out!

My DW got me one for Christmas too! Haven't had an opportunity to use it yet, it's still in the box. But, it is something I asked for, so when we get back out in the boonies this spring (if it EVER gets here, LOL) I'll be using it for sure.

I bought one last year and it works great. Safer than using my hatchet to make kindling.

Sorry, may work great but on the scale of 1-100 ranking of what I need for RV'ing, this gadget ranks 999. If we packed all the gadgets we would need a separate storage trailer behind the TT to carry it all.

Enjoy

PS you can bust kindling with a machette and the back of your axe. Just lay the blade across the butt end and smack it a couple times. Then repeat and repeat. Enough for a couple nites in maybe 5 minutes.
