wfd44, thanks so much! My husband and I just looked at all the pictures. You made our night! Congratulations again on your new rig. Good luck with your surgery. I had rotator cuff surgery a year ago. It'll go by fast and you'll be on the road. Take care.

We just thought of a question. Did you check out the mattress? The 2017's were supposed to have a new brand. A Simmons residential. We're just wondering if it looked like an improvement over the Denver's.

We were very happy with the Denver Mattress in the 2016 we looked at in March. I am not sure which mattress ours actually has. All of the Jayco signage inside says 2016 but it is 2017 exterior color, has the new lights over the table, bigger bathroom sink, bigger tv and other 2017 features. We were told it would be a 2017 - didn't check the VIN or see the title today.

My truck is a short end 2500. I went with the Curt R16 slider and E16 head. Curt slides further back than Reese. Also it is a much lower profile over the front rail. I can slide my toolbox back a few extra inches and still clear the legs of the slider.

Of the hitch?
This was taken during the install (note the lack of bolts in the rails).

I will get some more tomorrow if it doesn't rain here.
