377 RLBH Sliding Door Straps?
I searched but couldn't find anything on this topic so wondering how folks are securing their sliding doors on their 377s? Our 2018 has the cloth strap with a snap on the master closet, bathroom and bunkroom doors. The issue, mostly on the master closet and bunkhouse doors, is the fabric strap is strething casuing slack in the strap. That casues the door to have a little movement during travel and pops the snap. Currently I'm putting things like pot holders and towels in the straps to keep them snug. This keeps them from moving during travel and the strap from popping off. This isn't a long term solution, I know folks on here have come up with a better solution so let's hear it. Thanks in advance!

I use a child protection plastic strap on my ODK fridge. Wonder if that would work on the doors?
I have the same strap on my BH bathroom door, but never had it pop off yet.

Good question. I've noticed mine doing the same thing. I was going to look around and find a latch like I've seen on other RV closet doors.

Same problem here. Last trip out the snap popped off and the door broke off the tracks. I’ve repaired the strap but want to add an additional device to stop this from happening again.
Looking forward to seeing what the members do to resolve this.

Another possibility is to add another strap or latch to the bottom edge of the door. As I mentioned my BH door woes earlier, it’s interesting the bathroom door has never fell down or broke its snap.

Something like this is what I use.
https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Proofing...ty+door+straps
Mine have a push button release and are a heavy vinyl strap.

Thanks for posting the link to the childproof straps. Using that on the outdoor fridge door looks better than this redneck fix:

I agree, thinking it's because there's a lot of side to side movement and the bathroom has the locking mechanism to help secure it.

The bunk room doors are the worst, mine are constantly coming loose! We are thinking about doing something different with ours.

Yep, 52 lbs of constant trouble. It’s why we went with the curtain. Sound privacy in a camper? Ha.

This is what I did and absolutely love it! Solid Core Door. Really really helps with sound.

The bathroom door doesn't do it because it "locks" open. You have to push down the latch to close it. The bunkroom door doesn't have that option.
