6 Point Leveling Systems

Looking at new North Points and also Montanas. The North Point has an electric leveling system and the Montana has hydraulic. I am sure both have their pros and cons. Do any of you have experience with both types or can anyone explain why one is better than the other?

thanks

We have that some other brand now and we are looking at going with a pinnacle so we can get the electrics. We full time and the unit sits for months and the hydraulic jacks will begin to bleed down. Because we have a portable hard wall screen room we cant let the unit move so we ended up placing the unit on blocks so I can run the rams all the way up so they don't rust. The electrics stay were you put them and you don't have to worry about the pump system or blocking up the unit. if you are going to stay only a season in one place and don't have a problem with minimal movement the hydraulics are good and there able to move more larger slides which is why the other company uses them because there all hooked together.

Best of luck as per forum rules we cant use other brand name to promote but that some other brand is a good one, we love ours. but we like the pinnacle a little better and think its even a nicer unit than the north point in the same price range.

I've had Lippert level-up hydros and lippert ground control. I loved my hydros. But this electric system works well. Slow and loud but it performs about as good as the hydros. They hydros had less slop on the jacks. We can in parks and fields and the electric hasn't given us any troubles. The electrics definitely have a lot of slop in the jacks. I have JT strong arms to install this spring.

The hydros leaks down only if there is an issue.

The hydros can't rust, they are aluminum and coated.

I prefer hydros myself but the electric does the job. I did pull all the hydro stuff off my trade. So if I want to put hydros on my Eagle I just need the hydro landing gear and the pump.
