A/C Condensation Drain

I posted on another thread about trying to get water to our ice maker, but the other issue we seem to be having on our new Pinnacle is with regards to the A/C condensation drain. The back one works perfectly but the front unit started draining in between the walls and down through the bottom of the of the RV instead of through the drain hose. Had a repairman take a look at it and he said there was ice buildup causing the unit to overflow out of the hose. Has anyone experienced this before? It has been in the 70’s to 80’s so the units aren’t running nonstop. Seems unlikely that it would create ice unless it wasn’t draining properly in the first place.

Be sure the freeze sensor is in the evap core and the proper location. Run fans on high. Clean filters. Check that the barrier between the inlet and discharge is in place and fully sealed. If the tech knows what he's doing, he would of checked all this.
Icing has nothing to do with the drain. Evap will ice up due to the above items. Especially when humid.

He also should have checked the 4 screws that secure the unit to the roof to make sure yet are snugged up enough to slightly compress the gasket that seals the unit to the roof.

Drain HOSE? Every RV A/C I have ever seen only has holes in the bottom of the pan and it drains onto the roof. And as Earl mentioned, if you're in a high humidity situation keep the fan on high or it will freeze up.

Thank you for the help. I do not think the tech knew what he was doing. I guess the fact that he got here same day when everyone else was 2 weeks out should have told me something. I will have my husband check out your suggestions. I don’t think humidity is an issue as we are in Phoenix and typically have little humidity but good to know for future travels.
