What type of battery(s) did they install? Mfr/model or Ah? You can leave your solar on 24/7 and not worry about overcharging the battery(s)

OK, while we are on the subject of JAYCO "PRE-WIRED FOR SOLAR", does anyone have the Jayco wiring schematic for their "PRE-WIRED" setup? If would be nice to see how they have it wired in.

Don

I see there are 3 types of batteries. I looked at our Interstate Deep Cycle 6 volts and cannot see if it is Flooded, AGM or GEL.

They are likely "Flooded" deep cycle batteries ( caps on the top that come off and you should see water in each cell)

I looked it up and it is flooded. Interesting, I looked at how the dealer installed the solar and he set the panel for AMG battery not Flooded. Glad we checked. I think they should have programmed it right at the dealer, but at least its right now.

The dealers have no clue when if comes to batteries (especially when it comes to 2 6VDC batteries)Ah's, solar panels or the required solar equipment... as you will learn... buyer beware..

Just my thoughts,
Don
