Electric leveling
So far no issues, other than the 1/2 *ss way they mounted the controller in the ceiling of the front storage.
Right now I have the rear jacks pretty far out and it is level and I don't get an errors.

Thanks for the photo.
What size blocks do you carry to put under the leveler pads to shorten the stroke when you need to?

We found that we had to use a couple of blocks/pads for each of the rear jacks, so they don't bottom out and cause an error code. We think it's a good practice anyway to use the blocks, as they keep our leveling foot pads a bit cleaner--when raised.
We love our system so far. Easy to use and no more fussing with blocks under the tires.

Ground control 3.0.
I carry 18" long 2x10's. I have 9 of them. Haven't had to put more than one under each jack.

Do you all check how much stroke you have on each jack?
Also how close to perfect level.

North Point leveling system
Bought a brand new NP a month ago and took directly to camp after delivery, auto leveling failed. Worked it manually to get by but was highly upset that after throwing down almost $75k for a 5er and hitting the fancy "auto level" button was a joke! Took out two more times and same issue. Read some info online and this method works, leveled up at two different sites this past week and it worked great! Here are the steps to success and they really should tell you this at the dealer.
1) use blocks to shorten the distance jacks have to extend
2) be on a fairly level site. These are electric jacks lifting a 15k lb rig, everything has a limit
3) leave your trailer wire plugged into truck, but pull away do it doesn't hit your bed while leveling. I got a 7 pin extension wire
4) hit auto level and then increase your truck RPMs to get good alternator juice flowing
Now, if you have at least two batteries on the 5er, then you probably will be good on that alone. We only have one house battery and bottom line it is not enough voltage to run those jacks
Happy camping. Otherwise the North Point is an awesome rig

My dealer put two battery's in at del. said it was required on a Northpoint. Not sure if that's from Jayco or the dealers experience.

Why not just plug it in shore power to auto level?

I dang sure wouldn't have the truck even close during auto level. All is good till the system has a brain fart and the fifth wheel crushes your truck bed. It's happened to several. Just use shore power as others mentioned, that's what we did. Oddly enough, I didn't care for the leveling systems, at least on the towable. Several reasons I won't go into. I'll probably never own another after having HWH, Big Foot, LCI etc. Had them all on different rigs. Will spend my money on modifications instead.

We really like the electric level system. Our's is the Attwood system, I am not sure they are still producing it so I hope it it does't develop any problems.

Interesting, most people complain about how weak that system is. Did you learn this by accident or intentionally? I am not doubting you, I just didn't realize it would do that.

Accidentally. Site we were on sloped were the wheels were sitting. I didn't even notice at first. Was walking by the site and thought it looked weird. Crawled under and they were off the gravel by 1- 1 1/2 inches.
