Matching old Jayco paint

My trailer is the cream/off-white color. Jayco said the paint color is Rollie Williams 92 Ford FB 935. Rollie Williams says the color is extinct.

I found a very close match at Auto Zone. "Dupli-Color Perfect Match" for GM. Color BGMO434 Olympic White. Looks good and can't really tell where the old paint ends and the new paint begins.

Also know that a GOOD body shop will have a paint reader.. this scans the paint and takes into account fade then they can mix it up and either paint it for you or put it in a spray can. I have had this done several times..

I think everybody knows that but it's not something many want to bother with for minor scratches and imperfections. By the time you get the match and mix it'll cost you around $40 a pint and you still need reducer and hardener. Or you go the other way with base and clear and it costs you even more. Of course, that's the only way to go if you crash and replace panels but for minor things, it's overkill. It's very rare to find anyone who can put custom paint into an aerosol. Twenty calls in my area netted zero possibilities who could do it.

It was a very easy deal to wash away a few scratches and stains with a $8 can of spray paint.
