Mounting TV's in 31BH

Good Morning All,

We recently purchased a 2021 31MB and in the bunk room and in the master bedroom there are TV mounting locations with a sticker indicating where the TV mount should go. I've done some searching but can't seem to find any answers. Can I use a regular swing mount in these locations? Are the hardware provided with these types of mounts ok to use or is there something better I should be securing the mount to the wall with?

Any mount will work, but I would recommend a locking RV mount if you want a swing-type mount. They're not terribly expensive. Here's but one of many available mounts -

Word of caution - don't rely solely on the sticker location. I've seen far too many stickers placed sloppily in the wrong area, verify that there is blocking behind the sticker. Most mounts that I'm aware of come with the proper hardware for attaching, but common sense must still prevail.

Good luck!

I appreciate the response. I purchased 2 very similar mounts so I think I should be good. On verifying the backing near/behind the stickers. Is my best best to knock on the panel to get a general idea on where the backing is?

Watch the screw length vs wall depth. Pre drill holes to avoid splitting any support wood. Mine ended up about 6 inches under the sticker. Your results may vary. I take my tv off the mount when traveling. It locks in place, but still felt heavier than I was comfortable with. Apparently a smooth interstate is rocket science.
