Old vs New 5th wheels

Looking at lots of 5th wheels on RV trader now.

The older units seems better built with oak cabinets and cloth interiors (which I like better).

What year(s) did the 5th wheels change to rubber roofs?

Our 16 Eagle has DICOR, and are 06 HR had rubber!

Rubber roofs have been used widely on RVs for a long time. My 98 5th while had rubber. All my units had rubber expect my 1970. My guess 80's and 90's they went to rubber. Some used fiberglass roofing as well.

Our 1995 bumper tow had a "rubber" (EPDM) roof.

My ‘95 Jayco 264bh had an aluminum roof
