Seneca slideout

I have a 2017 37rb, my question is about the slide bar or what ever you call it that when the slide comes in it the bottom of the slide rubs on this. It's the plastic piece under the carpet screwed to the floor in the living room or street side. Both ends of mine are cracked down the middle in several inches, on one side to the second screw. It would be an easy replacement if you can get the weight of the slide off it. I'm wondering if any of you have the same problem, did you get it fixed, do it yourself, or are you living with it.

I would also be interested in knowing if the new model L with the whole wall slide uses a rub bar or rollers.

Thanks
