Congrats on the new TV!! she's a beauty. No worries about towing a 28BHBE at all now. You can even tow with full fresh water with no worries. (remember to ask your dealer to put shut-off valves on the fresh water overflow lines for you). its a minor thing, but important if you bring your own water along. You have the same payload as our Silverado 3500HD, and we have no problems towing in the mountains. Enjoy your new memory maker!

They're awesome trucks. They do what they're built to do, work. You won't be disappointed.

Great choice! And congrats!

If you hadn't upgraded the truck before you got the trailer, and waited until after you towed with the old truck, you would know without a doubt that you made the right move to upgrade. As it is, you'll have to take the word of those of us who have towed on (or over) the margin before an upgrade; you did the right thing!

Congrats.... I'm glad to see you took the advice of the people who have been down this road before. We were in the same boat last year and did the same thing... I'd rather spend a little more and know I'm not putting my family and others on the road in danger by "thinking it'll be fine".

Congrats on the new truck even if it is a Ford. You will certainly appreciate having the proper size truck to pull a big camper.

You are set now. Get that trailer and get going. The long bed will be really nice.
