28bhbe bunks hold weight?

Just wondering what is the weight limit on each bunk jayflight 28bhbe?

Headroom seemed very limited where my six and three year olds can’t really play on the lower bunks. And I’m concerned about putting my bigger kids both on the top with the baby on the bottom.

I meant in other brands it seemed limited

Not crazy about local dealer.

Ok thanks! So it is 600lbs. Other brands say 300lbs

Our 2013 28BHBE bunks are labeled as 600# each. My 16-year old son sleeps on the top, he’s nearly 6ft @ 200#.

It seems stable but creaks and moans terribly when he moves in it. Doesn’t make a good sleeping experience for my daughter sleeping underneath, and they won’t switch bunks. She has started sleeping on the couch.

We’re trying to find some solution for the creaking, maybe I’ll try and drive a few more screws into the top bunk through the framing. Not sure what else we can do....

My only other issue was that the slide was out of alignment, and it gouged the vinyl flooring near the bunks. Jayco replaced the entire floor under warranty, the dealer did a good job replacing it. We’re on year 5 with it now, no other issues [emoji41]

Thanks!
It’s just the local dealer is iffy and they said after saying if we would get it they would hold it till we had our storage set up. Then an off hand remark that they are full and there is a list of people waiting on work.
So, if we find anything is wrong we’d have to wait on a brand new unit? We’d have to take it and wait till they were free to do work.
Mentioned it look like the center was dipping on the slide and he said it couldn’t be because that’s not part of the description? The back cushion on couch the couch was obviously fuller on the right then the left so it pushed you forward. And he’s like just sit on the one side.

My parents drove out to a much further dealer the has one left and my mom went to open the cabinet at the handle came off apparently it was broken.

When did Jayco repair for you and was it in a timely manner? My real concern though is the dealer/service as I understand that the key.

I never had any issues with Jayco or my dealer (Keystone RV Wholesalers in PA). All work was done complete and in a timely manner. The same is true with my previous unit which was also a Jayco.

However, this was all prior to the Jayco acquisition by Thor, so others with more recent work done may have additional insight.
