28BHBE - Thoughts

Howdy, after our 264bh was stolen and after looking at a ton of replacements we signed the line for a 28BHBE with Thermal and Elite package today. Haven’t taken delivery yet and my minds already running.

Looking for anyone else with one, feedback, mods and or must do’s.

Plan on -
Bed Support
Bed Storage Insulation and Separation.
Thermal Insulate AC Covers and Blower housings.
Thermal Seal Ac Ducts
Water Filtration and Pressure Tank
Maxxfan Bathroom.
Battery Disconnect
Progressive 50amp Hard Wired Surge Protector

UPGRADE locks and Tongue Lock!!!

Thanks for any feedback or ideas in advance!

I also picked up a 28bhbe this pass summer. It's a great TT. I do also want to start doing some mods but I know some will void your warranty just not sure which ones lol. I'm curious to find out what would you do for the bed support? Make it more sturdy? For the water filtration I just picked up one of those water filter for the outside but looking into moding one onto the rig.

Yes l, it’s a must, or at least it was on my 264. Here’s a in process pic of my last one, I know several on here have finished project pics as well.
Works great to support mattress deck as well as when you close it off and insulate won’t have a draft any longer.

I do notice a draft for sure, interesting I may do this mod to. Wondering how much weight it will add more to the trailer.
