Dinette ...bench seat back loose

Ugh. Not sure how to fix. Screws pulled out.

I would use countersink head bolts on the side bracket and countersink wood screws on the bottom edge with countersink washers under the heads of all. Go to Lowes or Home Depot website and search for "countersink washer". Had the same issue with my popup dinette and never had an issue afterwards.

We use something like this to fix ours. We first tried filling the screw holes with toothpick and wood glue but that fix didn’t last.
Make sure the screws holding the bench to the floor are also tight. A couple of ours where striped out and allowed the bench to move more. We had to rebuild the bench almost after one trip where that bracket broke and the bench came up from the floor.

Also where the pine board is we pre drilled holes and ran weed screws from the outside all the way through the particle board and into the pine. We will paint the screws to match the wood.
