Outlets only via 30 amp, correct? 154BH

So, this is likely a silly question, but with my new-to-me 154BH, are the electrical outlets (receptacles) only powered when I'm connected to shore power? The battery and 200w solar don't power the built-in electrical outlets, correct? I'm assuming this unit doesn't come with a factory inverter.

If you have factory solar or solar installed by a prior owner they may have installed one. If there is one then the inverter is usually ( not always!) installed near the battery or solar controller. It should be switched as they draw power even when not being used so most people switch them off when not needed to save battery power. If you have one and it is switched on than one or more outlets may be powered by the battery system when not plugged into 30 amp AC. Use a meter or test light if you find one to find out which outlets are powered off the battery.

I am in the thought process of getting one some day buy I may just wire in a new outlet under the bed end where I could plug a TV into it or charge a laptop. Seems simpler than messing with the existing AC system.

You are most likely correct. Shore power or a generator plugged in.

Usually if an inverter is added to the circuit it will only power a select number of outlets, typically near the bed and kitchen, but not always.
