Thermostat

I would like to upgrade my Coleman manual thermostat to a digital. Can this be done and has anyone installed a digital thermostat?

I suggest a direct replacement with a similar Coleman Mach digital. You just need to know what features (heat pump, furnace, A/C) you want to mimic.

There is also the option of a cheap/simple home thermostat that is AA battery powered.

I have used both over the years. The Coleman Mach is in my current Jayco Eagle HT. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The wire color code is a one-for-one replacement using the Coleman Mach.

Many, many, many of us have done the swap. Very easy and will be one of the best improvements you can do.

I attached a Coleman catalog which shows many different thermostats. For my Greyhawk I used the 8330-3862 for the main area as it was heat/cool and the 8330-3462 for the bedroom which was cool only.

The probably are other ones available but I must say, these have been worth their weight in gold pressed latinum. I would never go back to a manual thermostat.

Make the change. You will be very satisfied!

Popular mod and very easy to do. Took me less than 10 minutes to install the one madmaxmutt mentioned.

Our original thermostat was in a place that was really hard to get to, so I replaced it with Colman-Mach Blue Tooth Enabled Digital Thermostat and now I can control with my iPhone as well.

Really enjoy being able to control/change from anywhere in the RV.

They are available from other sellers on Amazon. The bummer is the COVID pricing on them. I paid $32.95 in the height of RV season last year. Right now, the one I see is available for a mere $80. Crazy!
