Bed gets stuck when closing camper

Hi everybody. I own a 1992 Jayco 1006 Deluxe. My problem is that when I push one of the beds into the camper when closing, it gets stuck. I know why it's getting stuck, just not sure how to remedy the situation. As with many early pop ups, the kitchen area gets flipped upside down when closing the camper. Lately, I've notice my bed gets stuck on the kitchen sink drain pipe. The pipe is surrounded by a black thick gasket which serves as a seal to the drain pipe below going out of my camper. Not sure if the gasket is worn out over years of use or not. The bed gets stuck on the lip of the pipe when closing. I can see scrapes on the plywood underneath the bed. As a result, I have to hold up the bed while my wife pushes the bed into the camper. This solution is getting old. Are their any brackets or wheels that need to be tightened or adjusted in order to keep the bed high enough and on track so as to clear the lip of the drain pipe? Anybody ever experienced this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx

Try removing the dinette cushions before folding the galley and see if that helps. I have to do that with mine.
