I stand corrected!

Got me thinking about a comparison. An automobile takes 17-18 MAN hours to complete according to Toyota and more like 30 man hours according to the big 3. Note that there are a lot more man hours than clock hours on the trailer in the video (3 men working on the TT for one hour is 3 man hours). So 6-7 hours on the line is not unusual. It is a small assembly line however, with a production of only 32 units a day. I found a stat from a Nissan plant that indicated 2 cars roll off the line every minute for almost 1000 cars in an 8 hour shift. I remember touring GM's Lordstown OH plant many years ago, and the pace didn't seem that quick, but certainly one a minute or faster. So is the Jayco pace unreasonable?

The motivation should be to spend less on warranty work because of poor installation in the first place. My 2018 bought on 2017 spent 5 months in the shop doing warranty work, that would be charged back to the factory!
