Lights no longer work in my Older Popup Camper

I own a 1989 Jayco Pop Up Camper. When I got it two years ago, the interior and porch lights worked just fine. Suddenly they no longer work. I replaced the bulbs, fuse and tested the battery, which was good. When I am plugged into shore power they still do not work, even though the 110V plugs DO work when plugged in. Does anyone know the possible cause of this or how to troubleshoot?

Sounds like the 12v side of convertor is not working. The fuse you checked I assume is fuse on main battery wire. Do you have a convertor with fuses for 1wv lights? Doug

The bed ends should be extended fully. One end will have a micro switch so lights won't have power if it's not fully out. It's a safety feature so the lights cannot be on when the pop up is closed up. Interior and porch lights are 12 volts only.

The fuse I checked was a 10W fuse on the converter box. Is there an inline fuse on the battery wire somewhere?

There should be one right by the battery box, before the wire enters the camper.

Besides the bed switch, there is a grounding wire between the roof frame and the trailer frame. Check the connection, the wire at the roof gets a lot of flexing and is known to break. If I recall correctly the wire goes in the canvas pocket with the rear driver side lift mechanism.

Good Luck
