Power cutoff limit switch

I have a model 806 Jayco Jay series popup.
The power cut-off limit switch that is attached to the inside of the hard top has come off. I don't see any screw holes through the side of the hardtop so I assume it was glued or held in place with double sided tape. Does anyone have a measurement from the bottom of the switch to the bottom of the hard top edge, and a measurement from the back of the hard top bottom edge for the location the switch should be in?
I plan on drilling 2 screw holes through the hard top to attach the switch using its mounting holes. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?
