Garner State Park, Concan, TX....advice?

Managed to get a couple days reserved in the "new" Garner area. Have not been to this State Park in 18 years nor have I been to it during peak summer time..

Anyone have recent experience in Garner State Park. I have printed the maps of the park and I am narrowing down campsites I would like based of Google Earth and Streetview images.. (this is one of the few State Parks that has streetview on Google.

We will be there on a Monday and Tuesday in June.

I just joined the forum and noticed your post. We have been to Garner many times but stayed in tents. I hope you had a great time. Garner is fun, but hot in the summer.

I havn't been there in several years. I hope it's nicer now than I remember it. For the money, the COE parks are a better value IMO. Texas needs to put some of that SP money back into the parks.
