1st Trip. Great Time.

We just got back from our first trip in our ntu camper. It was a great time. We went to wildwood state Park on the east end of long Island. The site was extremely unlevel. I know now to bring many boards and blocks. It took forever to get the front to back level as the grade was sloping down to the front drastically. After I got it level the rest of unhitching and setup went very smoothly. It rained last night and tear down was in the rain this morning as well. The site was 30amp full hook up but without cable. Thats ok as we didn't watch too much tv anyways. The kids were able to ride their bikes freely throughout the cg and they loved that the most. Overall I feel that it was a successful trip. Had a great time.

Here we are ready to go

On a final note, the ram did great. 14 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 8 speed auto with unfortunately 3.21 rear end but look at my mileage.

Wish I got 14 mpg. We tow a Starcraft 24rls with a Dodge Durango with the same v8 hemi but only get about 11.5. But the DW won't consider a truck, she wants her third row seating for grandkids and dogs. She uses the Durango for day to day driving more than we tow the star so she won that debate.

Glad you had a good time, and congrats on the TT. BTW, Wildwood SP is one of the only three state parks that offer full hookups. The other two are in the Thousand Islands, that we frequent.

Glad your trip went good. That's pretty good MPG. We just took outs out last weekend. I have a similar truck but with 3.92's. I got just a little under 10mpg average.

Just curious what your max tow rating is with the 3.21's.

I am not sure of the exact number but I think it is just under 9k.
