2016 27 dsrl help

Short story
Bought a 27 dsrl and on the first trip noticed that the slide trim was rubbing on the dark brown bottom trim running from the front of the camper to the slide . Actually wore a hole completely through.
So took it in for repair. Got it home on the first day and noticed that the trim along the bottom of the camper was bowed in several places due to expansion from the heat.
Here is my question to other 27 dsrl owners. Are there screws anywhere along the topo of the trim that runs along the bottom of your camper from the front to the slide. Dark brown trim)
Noticed screws in other areas of that trim and wondered if there should be a couple on the trim that they replaced in order to stop the expansion and bowing.
Thanks folks.
