39" tv 12v

What is the make and model of the 12V 39" TV that comes in the newest Jayco campers?

My new TT didn't have the TV installed and it looks like the one that would have come with this model is a 39" TV powered by 12V.

That's just the antenna booster and they all come with the 12v socket. JAYCO does not use 12v tv's

What would be the purpose of the 12v outlet then? Why does it seem impossible not to use a 12v TV. A tv without the 120v-12v converter in theory would be cheaper.

Could it be that you have a more stable 120VAC source than a dropping 12VDC voltage as the battery discharges (if not on shore power)? Most people do not monitor their battery voltage and when the lights, fan or heater stop working that is when they think about the battery. Possibly causing issues when the battery voltage goes under 12VDC? No automatic shut off on 12VDC?

120VAC is usually 110 - 125VAC, and usually a pretty steady voltage.

No idea?

Eureka I've found the nema 5-15 outlet! Actually my wife found it.

ok next question, how are the TV's normally mounted in that center spin 360 degree console? Mirror on one side and TV on the other....allowing one to spin the TV so it can be watched from the front master bedroom?

I think it's six of one, half a dozen...

The 19" LED TV's I put in the old coach we're 120VAC with a 12V DC wall wart. So the TV *was* actually a 12V DC TV.

I bought a second power cord - one for the 12V power outlet when boondocking.
