X2 When we dry camp I always bring a second battery for "fun stuff". The camper battery is only for the camper.

in the camper the 12 volt plug says TV only...we do have an inverter plug from camping previously "tenting" ...i have seen other appliances that run on 12 volt...coffee maker etc...but since it says tv only what do you think about pluggung other stuff into it...I am not to worried over it since i can make coffee on the stove

Got my Sceptre E195BD-SHD led/dvd combo today (got to love Amazon Prime). It has a nice picture and good sound for it's size and price. Just tested it out to make sure it's good to go before mounting in the camper. Will probably mount it this weekend.

It's funny I e-mailed Sceptre Tech Support asking the following: "Do have a suggestion for a cable for use with this TV that goes from a 12 volt DC receptacle/cigarette lighter receptacle to the 12V input on the E195BD-SHD?"

Their reply: "Iím sorry no. The Tv needs stable electricity to work."

It's not marketed as being for RVs and they expect you'll only use their provided power supply. That's not going to stop me though. I'll just make my own 12v cable once I get a chance.
