Thought I'd report some good news

We just returned from a visit to Tucson and I'm happy to report our trip was mostly drama free. Leaving San Antonio I noticed a low tire on the 5th, aired it up and made the trek without further incident. Today while visiting the trailer I noted it was low again. Pulled the tire and visited Discount Tire to get it fixed. The valve stem was leaking, 5 min later it was fixed and I was out the door.

I promised some good news, there was no charge.

I bought tires for the TV from them but the 5th's came from elsewhere. I suppose being a return customer caused the $0.00 charge.

This brings a smile to my face that really lifted a crummy day.

Thank you, DT.

Cool on the no drama. I also love our local DT. My first visit, I gave them my cell number to call us when some work was completed. Every visit since has resulted in discounts or no charge on little things as that number shows our history no matter who is at the desk.

Discount tire fixes flats for free, including stems when they are the problem. To my knowledge, they always have. I suspect that it's their business model so that they will be the first place you think of going when you need tires. Works on me, however it doesn't hurt that they are two miles down the road either.

It's a heck of a benefit!!
