Tow Bar Install question

My new Seneca is still about a month out but I am working on getting my Jeep Wrangler Sport set up. I installed a Demco base plate and the tail light wiring kit. I am using a six pin connector so I can add a battery charger for the RVI-3 brake system if needed.

Never having a toad before I don't know the most convenient location to install the 6 pin connector bracket. Should it be centerd or to one side? Also, should I mount it to the bumper or the base plate?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks, Mark
