You cant make this up!!!!
While coming home from work today on I-71 N. near Cleveland, OH I observed the following: A new/newer Seneca that had a older Jayco TT in tow instead of a small car!!!! the TT was probably about 20-25 feet long but I was not able to tell the exact model as it was traveling in the opposite direction. I cant help but to wonder why.

I've seen this in a campground. It was a big family reunion and they pulled in-laws TT. The in-laws were in their late 80s and no longer felt like driving a TV-TT combo.

We have friends with a 30' class A that they also tow a pop-up camper with sometimes. It's when other family wants to camp with them.

I once saw a television show about a family with many children (who shall remain nameless) do that very same thing while traveling. Once on the road they realized the MH couldnt handle the load, so the oldest ended up towing the TT behind the familys 15 passenger van.

Seen it a few times.
When I was a kid we were members of the Starcraft Camping Club. We had two sets of members who traveled together. The MH was a younger couple, with kids. Their neighbors was elderly sisters who did not drive anymore (husbands had passed away). The MH hooked up to the elderly lady’s camper, and they all went to the monthly rallies together. Each had their own campsites, close to each other. They were all great people.
Couple years ago we were at a family reunion. There was another family reunion gong on across from us. There was a big Class A coach with a small PU behind it. The day of their main get together. The PU was opened up and it was a very fancy portable kitchen. The bunks and canvas was gone. One of the bunks was replaced with a slide out table of cooking supplies and condiments. Concept was just like the beds with under pinned supports. Really nice setup.
We live near the fairgrounds. During fair time, lots of MH roll in hauling another camper.
