Hi,

Was invited by moderator to post here and introduce myself. Trying to be respectful by doing so.

I have a 2012/3 Jayco Seneca 37FK, and I'm working on a few things and thought this forum could help. Also, I might be able to offer a bit of help here and there as I'm an engineer by career (50% EE / 50% ME) and also a retired Army 82nd AA MP (10 yrs.) Some of that stuff might combine to enable me to help someone here and there, or so I think anyway. Worth a try.

So, thanks for having this forum. I don't belong to any forums, but this one might help me and enable me to help some other folks.

Best Regards,
Ray

PS. Kudos to anyone who understands the title of my post.

Hi to you, Ray, and welcome to the forum.

Like you, I don't belong to any other forums either. I also don't do Facebook, Twitter, or (insert your choice of social media here) and I am clueless (but curious) regarding the title of your post.

EDIT: Oops. Thank you for your service. Fog* almost forgot.

Sorry, Military Term. Maybe inappropriate for this site. The "NG" part is "New Guy" and the rest is Army stuff probably not safe for children. I apologize.

Thank you. My post is really not presentable. I've learned that Army talk is not so much everyone's talk. FNG, I've been advised is "Funny New Guy." I'm going with that, in lieu of the other. Hope you understand and don't hold it against me. I'll try to be a little more civilian in my speech going forward. I truly don't want to offend anyone, even if it is by innocent accident. :-)

No need for apology Ray. My father served 28 years so I'm used to it. There are plenty of ex service members here so they get the lingo. I would just use the "civilian " terms when a "non-native" speaker asks for the translation. LOL [emoji23]

FNG, love it (and I mean the non-kid friendly version lol). Welcome to the forum!

My other favorite acronym is RTFM. Read the funny manual

RayBo, welcome to the forum. There are great people on this forum with a wealth of knowledge. I am sure there will always be someone who can answer your questions. As someone else mentioned, there are many ex military here. I am retired from the US Navy. Serve 23.5 years starting during Vietnam. Good luck with your new rig.

WELCOME... We need more of the Seneca FK owners here anyways... We have similar educations... but not similar career paths - of which your service is the best thing that could happen to this country.

Welcome to the JOF (as we call it) and never be afraid of any acronyms - the real definition is all in the readers mind.
